When the moon is in the shadow or hidden behind a tree

Now we all heard of Rudolph bout his nose lights up the trail

But I bet you never heard of dasher with the light upon his tail.

Dash away over hill and dam

Strangers laughs so merrily

Bidin' on the rooftop down the chimney

Every swear old Santa goes he gives him light to see

Dasher has a job to do before they hit each trail
