The grass on the lawn is almost knee high

Cause I can't start the mower I've tried and I've tried

The electric is off in just half of the house

And I can't figure out what's wrong

Everything's a wreck since you've gone.



The sink in the kitchen is all stopped up to

And since you've always fixed it I don't know what to do

My favorite past time lately is watching edge of might

And now the TV won't come on

Everyday something else just falls apart

But how can I keep them going without the knowhow or the art

I thought I'd change the color of the room I shared with you

And don't you know the ladder broke now even the floor is blue.



Our poor old little parakeet doesn't sing anymore

Like me he's lonely all day long
