So while I'm still alive

I want to apologize

For nothing that I did

And not a word I said

I bled it right to you

And meant it as I spoke

It was something that I had to do

The words that made me choke



I sit back and detatch

To watch the passage

Of times and places

And anonymous faces

So while I'm alive

I want to make it clear

I've given up this place

I would rather be elsewhere
