Bourgeois Tagg
Bourgeois Tagg was a short-lived supergroup formed in the early 1980s, uniting two established solo artists to create a distinctive pop-rock sound. The band consisted of Bonnie Bramlett, a former member of Delaney & Bonnie, and David Crosby, a founding member of Crosby, Stills & Nash. Their collaboration resulted in a single, self-titled album released in 1981, which showcased their combined vocal harmonies and songwriting prowess. The group is perhaps best known for their cover of the classic standard, Mutual Surrender, which they reimagined with a title referencing the iconic song What a Wonderful World. While the project did not achieve massive commercial longevity, it remains a notable chapter in the careers of both musicians, highlighting their ability to blend soulful R&B influences with classic rock sensibilities. |
