“Otišla je ljubav” (“Love Has Gone”) describes a breakup as a departure that leaves more than one person behind. Love has gone in search of happier places, the narrator says, and all the things the couple once lacked are now being given to others. That personification makes the loss feel almost like a betrayal by love itself: the feeling has not simply ended; it has chosen a new destination.

The repeated farewell is direct and almost childlike. “Go, go, little one, say goodbye to me” sounds like a final instruction from someone who knows there is no point pleading. Yet the song’s refrain keeps returning to what is missing, which shows that the goodbye has not made the speaker free. The beloved may have left, but the narrator is still measuring the present against what they once shared.

Mevlija Džambić Mikica’s performance sits in a familiar regional ballad tradition, where the emotional truth is delivered without much disguise. Independent criticism of this specific track is difficult to find, and no broad reception is claimed. “Otišla je ljubav” is less concerned with why the relationship ended than with the way absence feels like an active force. Love has gone elsewhere; the singer remains in the place it emptied, listening to the same simple farewell until it might finally sound true.
