“Da poljubac vječno traje” (“May the Kiss Last Forever”) is a love song that does not need conflict to create momentum. The narrator remembers how quickly the relationship began and describes the beloved as the source of happiness and imagined future. Its central wish is deliberately impossible: let a kiss last forever. The phrase turns a passing moment into the kind of memory lovers hope to preserve, not because time can stop but because the feeling seems large enough to deserve permanence.

The lyric’s tenderness comes from its confidence. The speaker does not bargain or threaten; he simply returns to the joy of being with this person and the dreams they share. That steadiness distinguishes the song from the surrounding breakup ballads in Milan Terze’s catalog. Here, repetition does not sound like someone trapped in regret. It sounds like someone lingering over a moment that has made the future feel welcoming.

There is little independent coverage of this specific track, so the song’s reception is best left open rather than replaced by generic praise. Its emotional simplicity is a deliberate choice. “Da poljubac vječno traje” treats romance not as a test of endurance but as an experience worth savoring while it is present. The wish that the kiss last forever is not a plot point to resolve; it is the whole point of the song—a brief, shared happiness given the dignity of a lasting image.
