Lentamente
"Lentamente" is a 2025 single by Irama, the Italian singer-songwriter, released on 12 February 2025 by Warner Music Italy from the album _Antologia della vita e della morte_. Written by Irama with Blanco, Giuseppe Colonnelli and Michelangelo, and produced by Michelangelo, it is a pop-rock record in Italian, roughly three and a quarter minutes long. It arrived as one of the singles from the Sanremo Music Festival 2025 competition, where Irama placed ninth, and it is the follow-up to "Galassie" and the predecessor to "Ex" in a run of recent high-profile releases. "Lentamente" works lyrically as a slow-motion dissection of a relationship in its final phase. The speaker addresses a partner he characterizes as "fredda come la neve" (cold as the snow) and recasts what they were as little more than cover stories: a connection that "era soltanto sesso," an arrangement that had only "una scusa." There is a repeated wish, almost a prayer, that "Almeno tu / tornassi un attimo" - that for at least a moment the other person would come back. The recurring imagery is physical and immediate, the "profumo d'estate," the scent of the summer, and the way she tugs his sleeve before turning away, which keeps the scene close even as the emotional distance grows. The refrain states it plainly in the title line: "Lentamente si sta spegnendo / ogni fottuto sentimento" - slowly, every last feeling is going out. The production mirrors that structure. A cinematic music video directed by Francesco Lorusso, filmed at a full location in Villastellone with actress Nina Malara, was released alongside the track on the same day. Staged and shot at length rather than left in the studio, the video side reinforces the mood of the song: an argument that has run out of heat, ending not in a climax but in silence, in a shared inability to say what remains. Reception in Italy was substantial. The single reached number 12 on the FIMI Top of the Music chart, number 21 on the EarOne airplay chart, and also entered the Swiss Singles chart, where it peaked at 57. It was later certified Gold by FIMI, a figure that combines sales and streaming. For Irama, the song sits inside the Sanremo 2025 cycle, and its chart and certification performance is in line with the run of recent high-profile singles from the artist.
