Ne postoji grad

Joy · Other Songs - Joy

Sve sam s tobom imao
i sve sam to izgubio
kao mahnit bih ti usne ljubio

Nek' poludim, nek' sam gad
samo case redam sad
kad je srce trijezno sve je bezvezno

Ne postoji grad gdje smirio bih se
topla kuca gdje odmorio bih se
jedini mi dom tamo gdje je lom
gdje me pice truje pa me smiruje

Ref.
Otkad volim te ispred ociju mi mrak
rekli su mi lijepa zena uvijek los je znak
a ja volio, od tebe obolio
sta cu, nisam znao da sam odmah propao

Ne postoji grad gdje smirio bih se
topla kuca gdje odmorio bih se

A love song without a place to settle

The title “Ne postoji grad” (“There Is No City”) captures a narrator unable to find a place of calm after losing a relationship. Home and escape both seem out of reach, and the song connects heartbreak with the urge to drown out the mind's noise. The mood is restless and self-destructive, rather than a straightforward celebration of romance, giving the track a darker emotional center than its pop setting might suggest.

Joy recorded the song with Marko Vukes on vocals before it appeared on the Croatian group's 2019 studio album of the same name. Croatia Records describes the album as gathering material created between 2014 and 2019; the title track is among the songs credited to Vukes, the band's former frontman. Its melodic pop-rock arrangement sets the lyric's unsettled perspective within a radio-friendly format.

The label notes that the album's songs had been played on radio and television and that some reached national charts, but no verified chart position for this track is readily available. “Ne postoji grad” remains the emotional anchor of the album's title: a song about displacement after love, where the narrator's idea of home has become inseparable from what has been lost.
