Ramos

The narrator begins by backing Real Madrid because Luka Modrić is there, then watches a match swing so decisively that the stadium’s mood changes before halftime. Bayern’s three first-half goals are the detail that anchors the song: it recalls Real Madrid’s 4–0 defeat of Bayern Munich in the 2014 Champions League semi-final second leg, with Sergio Ramos scoring twice from set pieces. The refrain turns the defender into a brotherly figure who has just ruined Mario Mandžukić’s night.

Bulić writes from the Croatian supporter’s divided loyalties, following Modrić and Mandžukić as much as the clubs themselves. The song’s comic complaint is affectionate: Ramos is both the hero of Real’s victory and the reason the narrator’s fellow countryman is eliminated. No independent review of the parody was located. Its charm is in making a landmark European result feel personal, as if a goal by a center-back had interrupted a conversation among friends gathered around the television.

The lyric works like a terrace chant dressed as a match recap: names are repeated, loyalties are declared, and a single defender becomes the hero—or villain—of the narrator’s evening. That simplicity is appropriate to fan culture, where a player’s contribution can be remembered through one decisive set of moments rather than a full tactical account. The song also translates the result into a personal joke about Mandžukić, giving Croatian listeners a national figure to care about within a European club fixture. Its emotional logic is communal and immediate, not analytical.
