Uza-snow
Luka Bulic · Other Songs - Luka Bulic
od sest ujutro navecer do deset
pa dobro, kakvo je vrijeme to
bolesno, uzasno i grozno
Otkad kod nas su dosli tropi
k'o sladoled se mozak topi
i lijepi se djon za tlo
bolesno, uzasno i grozno
I one musice dosadne
ispod lustera se vrte u krug
kad ljeto suludo postane
jao ga tebi ak' ne mozes na jug
Zbog zelje se tijelo trese
al' cim dodje kasna jesen
opet od zime ce nam biti zlo
bolesno, uzasno i grozno
Uza-snow
The lyric describes summer as a climate emergency from the perspective of someone who cannot bear the heat: the temperature is absurd, the brain melts like ice cream, and the shoes stick to the pavement. But its title’s wordplay also hints at the song’s real target—the way every season becomes unbearable once people are stuck inside it. When autumn arrives, the narrator predicts, the complaints will simply switch to cold weather.
That cyclical punchline makes the track more observant than a string of heat jokes. The chorus treats discomfort as both physical sensation and national pastime, while the speaker’s longing for the south offers no permanent solution. The lyrics mention sweltering temperatures, but without a date or location they cannot establish a particular heat wave, and the entry contains no verified climate data. No independent review of Bulić’s song was found. Its satire depends on recognition: people can sincerely hate the heat and then, a few months later, sincerely complain about winter. The weather changes; the habit of grumbling remains remarkably stable.
Weather comedy often works by exposing the gap between what people complain about and what they later miss, and this lyric builds its entire arc around that seasonal contradiction. Summer heat is rendered through tactile details—sticky soles, melting brains—before the narrator predicts that winter will bring a new round of complaints. The title’s wordplay intensifies the joke, but the structure is almost a tiny seasonal cycle: discomfort, escape fantasy, reversal. Since no date or weather data is supplied, the heat should not be treated as a specific climate report. It is a comic portrait of recurring human impatience.
