Tip si koji zavodi
vidim kamo ovo vodi
izgledas kao moja
sljedeca pogreska

Paznja i skupi darovi
to je ono sto godi mi
da mi pricas price
koje na romane slice

Lazi mi, kazi mi
da sam ti najbolja
lazem ti, kazem ti
da si prava premija

Nemoj reci da te nisam upozorila
igrac sam kao ti, losa sam s imenima
nisam ja za veze, to me ne zanima
danas sam tvoja, sutra nicija

Imam prazno mjesto
u avionu ludila
vezi se, polijecemo
sutra je amnezija

Premija

“Premija” (“A Prize”) starts with a narrator who can already see where the flirtation is going: this smooth talker looks like her next mistake. She enjoys attention and expensive gifts, but she also recognizes the performance in his romantic stories. The chorus makes the exchange reciprocal and knowingly false—he says she is the best; she tells him he is a real prize. Both flatter, both lie, and both appear to understand the game.

That mutual performance gives the song a sharper edge than a straightforward seduction number. The narrator is not fooled by the suitor’s charm; she sees the mistake coming and chooses to keep playing. The word “premija” can mean a prize or bonus, turning the relationship into a transaction where attention, gifts and compliments are all forms of currency. The song’s flirtation is fun precisely because no one pretends it is entirely sincere.

Maja Šuput’s playful pop delivery suits the lyric’s knowing wink. No substantial independent review of this track surfaced, so I won’t claim a wider response. “Premija” is a small comedy of modern courtship, in which both people know the script and keep performing anyway. Its most honest line may be the chorus’s admission that both are lying. The song is not asking whether this romance will last; it is enjoying the moment before the next mistake arrives.
