drustvo sada vice "kreni"
stikle oblacim u letu
nocas je sve na tvoju stetu
Dajte pice za drugare
brzo nek’ obrcu se ture
nocas neces biti povod
vreme je sada za moj provod
Ref.
Hajde penji se na sto
zivim kao da sam Bog
ne dam da mi srecu kvare
nije vredno niti jedne pare
Hajde penji se na sto
zivim kao da sam Bog
uzmi sve sto nam noc pruza
kad bi noc ova bila duza
Tu smo sad u separeu
nocas ne znam ja za meru
nemam vise nista tvoje
ovo vece bice samo moje
Ref.
Zivim kao da sam Bog
igram protiv ega svog
zivim kao da sam Bog
nisi vise deo sveta mog
zivim kao da sam Bog
gledaj me
I briga me za nju
za lazi, tvoje snove
gde si, s kim si
lude noci ove

Kao da sam Bog
“Kao da sam Bog” (“As If I Were God”) begins with the narrator dressing for a night out and asking friends to pour another round. She says the evening will not be about the person who hurt her; tonight, she will decide what happens. The title makes that declaration grander than the situation, giving a party-night recovery the scale of divine power. Yet the lyric’s insistence that the ex will not be the reason for the evening suggests he is still very much on her mind.
That tension is the song’s pleasure. The narrator is trying to reclaim the night, her appearance and the story she tells about herself. Going out becomes an act of defiance, but also a performance of being unbothered. The image of getting ready in a new dress captures the moment before the door opens, when confidence can be chosen and worn even if the hurt has not yet disappeared.
Marija Jovanović’s pop-folk approach gives the refrain a celebratory energy. I found little independent criticism of the track, so its reception remains uncertain. “Kao da sam Bog” is not a song about having truly become invulnerable. It is about borrowing that feeling for a night. The narrator may not control what happened in the relationship, but she can choose the music, the company and the way she enters the room.
