Zasto jos volim te (feat. Luminize)

Marin Juric · Other Songs - Marin Juric

Lazem si opet da dobro sam sama
dizem se stalno jer stvarno sam pala
i sve je to laz
da, sve je to laz

Sto vise se trudim jos teze se budim
i govorim si da ne falis mi ti
al' ne pali mi to
duso, ne pali mi to

Ali glumim
da cvrsto ja stojim, al' gubim
jer kojim god putem da krenem
vodi me sve unatrag

Ref.
Zasto jos volim te
zasto jos trebam te
ne mogu se pravit' da dobro sam
kada dobro sam
kad sve dobro znam

Zasto ja nemam te
kada jos zelim te
ludo je mislit' da dobro sam
kada dobro sam
kad sve dobro znam

Govorim sebi da prosle su cari
mislio, proc' ce taj kaos u glavi
ne pali mi to
duso, ne pali mi to

Lazem i dalje, bez tebe sam kul
u sebi sam sakrio svu istinu
i sad borim se s tim
borim se s tim

Da se nadjem
u svijetu u kojem se lazem
i kojim god putem da krenem
vodi me sve do tebe

Ref.

Znam da bila sam luda
i zalit cu zauvijek, znam
ma kol'ko sam zeljela uspjet'
ne mogu prezivjeti sad

Lazem si opet da dobro sam sam
dizem se stalno jer stvarno sam pao
i sve je to laz
duso, da, sve je to laz

Zasto jos volim te

“Zašto još volim te” (“Why Do I Still Love You?”) begins with the familiar lie that the narrator is fine alone. She keeps getting up after falling, repeats that she does not miss the ex, then admits that every part of the denial is false. The song’s question is not a request for information; it is an exasperated recognition that love has outlived the relationship and the singer’s attempts to talk herself out of it.

Luminize’s feature adds a second vocal presence to Marin Jurić’s song, giving the private contradiction a broader, more anthemic shape. The lyric moves between self-talk and confession: the narrator knows what she should say, but the body and memory refuse to cooperate. That push-pull makes the refrain relatable without making it easy. The singer is not asking whether the relationship was good for her; she is asking why the feeling remains after she knows it is over.

The track’s independent critical coverage is limited, so I won’t claim a settled public response. “Zašto još volim te” is strongest as a study in post-breakup self-deception: the narrator’s repeated assertions that she is fine serve only to emphasize how much she is not. The title’s question has no clean answer. Sometimes love persists because memory has not caught up with the decision to leave.
