pukla bruka
slusam ljude kako laju
hvata me muka
nisi ti vredan da pricaju o tebi
Kao da na svetu boljeg
nije bilo
srce nago ti se celo
prepustilo da mi ga slomis
a zasto i ne bi
Ref.
Nije lako zeni koja voli sama
s pogresnima spavam evo
godinama, a ti lazes me
lazes za medalju
Da ces da je ostavis
kad dodje vreme, da u mislima si
uvek pored mene, zar to ljubav je
e moj lazni kralju
e moj lazni kralju
Sta mi treba s tobom
ova avantura
ovo nevreme u dusi
ova bura
nisi ti vredan da pricaju o tebi

Lazni kralj
“Lažni kralj” (“False King”) is a breakup song that reframes the beloved as a ruler who never deserved the throne. The narrator asks why she stayed, remembers how people gossiped and admits that her heart gave itself completely to someone unworthy. The title does not merely accuse the partner of being false; it challenges the whole image of his importance. He seemed to rule her emotional world, but the singer is beginning to see that the crown was never earned.
The song’s dramatic language—shame, gossip, a heart laid bare—makes the relationship feel public as well as private. The narrator is not only grieving the person; she is confronting the embarrassment of having defended him. That shame may be the final bond she has to break. The lyric’s central question is not whether he was a good king, but why she let him govern so much of her life.
Marina Tadić’s forceful pop-folk performance gives the refrain a sense of accusation, but the more interesting turn is inward: the singer is reclaiming the authority she handed over. Independent review coverage is limited. “Lažni kralj” is a song of disillusionment, where seeing through someone’s image becomes the first act of taking oneself back. The false king loses his throne when the narrator stops believing in it.
