Bensedini

nisam glupaca za to, izvini
kad me prevaris sa prvim skotom
pozdravi se sa zivotom
Ponovo se telo rastaje sa dusom
tako mi je svaki put s tobom
oblacis odelo, odlazis bez reci
dok ja drhtim kao prut
Samo miris tvog parfema
tu na meni ostaje
o, kako bih volela da mrzim te
da ti kazem dosta je

Tebi viski meni bensedini
nisam glupaca za to, izvini
kad me prevaris sa prvim skotom
pozdravi se sa zivotom
Proklet bio lepi muski stvore
dodji sutra da mi brojis bore
k'o svaki glup muskarac
bices mi stranac
kad me prodju lutke moje
Ponovo se budim umorna i besna
tako mi nedostajes
kao luda ti se nudim
dusa mi je tesna, jeftino me prodajes

Bensedini
“Bensedini” (“Benzodiazepines”) places two coping mechanisms side by side: whiskey for one person, pills for the other. The narrator’s opening line is a sharp retort to betrayal—she is not a fool, she says, and the unfaithful partner should say goodbye. But the verses show how much the relationship has already cost her. Her body feels separated from her soul, and every encounter seems to repeat the same cycle of infidelity and exhaustion.
The song’s title is startlingly clinical beside its melodramatic heartbreak. It names medication as part of the emotional landscape, but the lyric does not offer medical advice or present pills as a solution. Instead, the word points to the numbing routines people reach for when grief and mistrust have become too much. The refrain’s sharpness is a defense; underneath it is someone tired of being hurt in the same way again.
Marina Visković’s performance uses the directness of pop-folk to make a private crisis memorable, but the song’s lyric deserves a careful reading rather than romanticization. No reliable independent review specific to this track surfaced. “Bensedini” is strongest when it lets the bravado crack: the singer may be ready to end the relationship, yet she is still describing the emotional consequences in the language of survival. Its hook is catchy; its subject is not light.
