Te veceri je bilo najljepse
cak su se zvjezdice tebi klanjale
sad kasno je za rijeci utjehe
jer ja nisam bio dobar za tebe

Mi smo vlasnici srca slomljenih
mi smo vlasnici ruza uvelih
kada bih mogao, ja bih promijenio to
ali nismo vise zajedno

Znam da sam kriv sto sve je propalo
vjeruj mi, nikad necu prezaliti to
sad kasno je za rijeci utjehe
jer ja nisam bio dobar za tebe

Vlasnici srca slomljenih

“Vlasnici srca slomljenih” (“Owners of Broken Hearts”) turns a breakup into shared ownership of the damage. The narrator remembers a night when the stars seemed to bow to the beloved, then admits it is too late for comforting words because he was not good enough for her. The plural title matters: heartbreak is not something one person possesses alone. Both are left carrying pieces of the same failed story.

There is no villainous ex here, only a recognition of inadequacy and a tenderness that survives the ending. The narrator seems to accept that his apology cannot reverse what happened, while the image of the stars preserves the beauty of the time they had. That combination—no longer together, still able to remember the beloved with wonder—gives the song a quieter sadness than a conventional accusation.

Marko Vukes Vuky’s writing sits in a contemporary regional ballad style, direct but not entirely self-pitying. Critical coverage specific to this track is scarce. “Vlasnici srca slomljenih” works because it lets accountability remain inside the grief: the singer says he was not good enough, but does not make the confession a demand that she return. The broken hearts belong to both of them, even if only one voice gets to sing about it.
