Nisam smeo s tobom
jer si tudja bila
ali uvek postoji neka sila
sto me tebi vuce, moje lepo luce

Ref. 2x
Da l' me neko kleo
ili blagoslovio
jedina si greska
koju bih ponovio

Mozda ipak greh je
sto pozeleh tebe
ali nisam mogao protiv sebe
jer me srce vuce tebi, moje luce

Ref. 2x

Sto dalje od tebe
trebao sam poci
ali srce moje nema moci
pa me tebi vuce, moje lepo luce

Jedina greska

The narrator of “Jedina greška” (“The Only Mistake”) knows the beloved was unavailable and calls loving her a mistake—then immediately adds that it is one he would make again. That contradiction is the whole song. Desire becomes a force the speaker cannot distinguish from fate: he wonders whether someone cursed him or blessed him, because the same attachment has brought both pleasure and pain. The title sounds like a confession, but the refrain turns it into a boast about the one error he refuses to regret.

This is romance as self-indictment with a smile. The singer knows the relationship may have crossed a line, yet the memory is precious enough to justify the risk after the fact. That can be read as devotion, or as the familiar pop fantasy that intensity excuses consequences. The lyric is brief and direct, with no attempt to explain the other person’s situation; we hear only the lover caught between conscience and longing.

Miki Gajić’s performance sits in the regional folk-pop idiom of love stories told plainly and sung for a roomful of listeners. Independent criticism specific to this recording is scarce, so no consensus is claimed. The lyric’s most memorable move is to stop asking whether the love was wise. It was a mistake, the narrator says—and because it mattered, he would repeat it. That is less a moral lesson than a candid admission of how little reason can do once desire has made its home in the heart.
