Trecu noc ispijam

Znam ja o tebi sve
sve ono najgore
ali ipak spreman sam
da svesno poginem

Ove noci kao lud
cekam te uzalud
davno je puklo sve
a sebi to ne priznajem

Ref.
Trecu noc vec ispijam
gde si sad kad pao sam
tudje ruke ne mogu
sa zemlje da me podignu

U svakoj casi trazim spas
trezan ne umem bez nas
jer bol me uvek stigne
kad ti cujem ime

Znam ja o tebi sve
s kim jutrom budis se
ali glavu okrenem
da oci ne vide

Trecu noc ispijam

“Treću noć ispijam” (“I’ve Been Drinking for the Third Night”) opens with a narrator who knows the worst things about the person he is waiting for and still cannot stop waiting. He says he is consciously ready to be destroyed, then admits that the relationship has long since broken and that he cannot bring himself to accept it. The drinking is not presented as a cure so much as a ritual that postpones the moment when he has to face the loss.

The lyric’s power comes from that gap between knowledge and action. The singer understands the relationship is over; he can list what went wrong. Yet the third night arrives, and he is still holding a place for someone who has not come. The refrain makes the cycle audible: each night repeats the last, and each drink becomes another attempt to silence a truth already known. The song does not glamorize this as romantic persistence; its language of conscious self-destruction gives the waiting a cost.

Grand Online covered Milan Rakić’s premiere of a new song in reporting that appears connected to this release, giving it regional launch context rather than independent critical analysis. “Treću noć ispijam” belongs to the familiar tavern-ballad landscape, but its narrator is more self-aware than the genre’s bravado might suggest. He knows longing is harming him. The tragedy is that knowledge has not yet become the strength to leave the bar—or the relationship—behind.
