Heal

Myrne / Shallou · Heal

Healing you stand alone
And fall like dominoes
Feel like you're overgrown
Follow the lights above
To show you where to go
I know you'll find a home
And I let it go
And I let it go
(And I let it go)
(And I let it go)
Follow the lights above
To show you where to go
I know you'll find a home
And I let it go
Healing you stand alone
And fall like dominoes
Feel like you're overgrown
Follow the lights above
To show you where to go
I know you'll find a home
And I let it go
And I let it go
(And I let it go)
(And I let it go)
And I let it go
And I let it go
Healing you stand alone
And fall like dominoes
Feel like you're overgrown
Follow the lights above
To show you where to go
I know you'll find a home

Heal

“Heal” is built from a handful of lines that behave less like a story than a reassurance repeated until it might become true. The voice sees someone standing alone, “overgrown” with feeling, then offers a direction: follow the lights above; you will find a home. The promise is gentle, but it does not erase the loneliness that precedes it. The image of falling dominoes suggests that the person’s difficulty is not a single setback but a chain reaction, one fragile moment tipping into the next.

The repeated “I let it go” is the song’s hinge. It can sound like advice to the person being addressed, but it also reads as the speaker’s own practice: letting go is not an accomplished fact, only a phrase to return to. That ambiguity gives the refrain its emotional modesty. There is no dramatic recovery scene and no claim that healing follows a straight line. The song stays with the interval between being lost and being able to imagine a home again.

MYRNE and Shallou released “Heal” as the title track of a four-song EP on the This Never Happened label in April 2025. Dancing Astronaut described the record as a work of “emotional dance music,” emphasizing its soft synth textures and restrained, restorative atmosphere rather than peak-hour impact. That reading fits the lyric’s small scale: the track’s repetition does not push toward a drop so much as make room for the listener to breathe inside the same few thoughts. Its comfort is not an answer to every question. It is the steadier, more believable offer of company while the questions remain.
