Next Spring

I'll be gone for a season
But I'll be comin' back next spring
When old love starts to sing again
My heart will ring again
Next spring, next spring

Oh, it's just for a season
But it won't be long 'til spring
I can't wait to hear you say
You love me, oh, and what a day
Next spring, baby, baby, this spring

Flowers will be blooming
And the beetles will be zooming
Next spring, next spring
I will come to call on you
We will start our love anew
Next spring, next spring

Oh, love, you're the reason
I'll never, ever roam again
I'm gonna build a home at last
Leave my traveling in the past
This spring, this spring

I'll be gone for a season
But I'll be coming back next spring
When old love starts to sing again
My heart will a-ring-a-ling again
Next spring, next spring

Oh, love, you're the reason
I'll never, ever roam again
I'm gonna build a home at last
Leave my traveling in the past
This spring, baby, baby, this spring

Flowers will be blooming
And the beetles will be zooming
Next spring, next spring
When I call on you, love
I will be so full of joy this spring
