Chilly Winds That Blow From Up North

1.Chilly winds that blow from up north

Bringing down the cold snow storm

Causing everything to be so cold

Do you really got to blow ?

And do you got to freeze ?

Everything that you see

And do you got to do ?

A task that is so cruel



2.In a distant land

There is an old man

He is walking with a child

They are walking many miles

Though they're bundled and they're warm

They're not warm enough for the storm

Do you think they'll freeze

Jesus help them please

Oh Jesus lend an ear

Why do you make the wind

So cold that it can sin ?

That it can kill a man

Why is this in your plan ?

I can't understand

I can't comprehend



4.Said Jesus back to me

It's so you will see

Your trust lies in me

And not in your own ability

And the old man and the child

They're alive and they still smile

They trusted in the Lord

He got them through the cold snow storm
