Moving Days Song

Art Paul Schlosser · Other Songs - Art Paul Schlosser

I've got moving day frustration

And I think I should make a donation

Because I got way too many things

And they don't got wings

And they're not gonna fly to where I moving to

And I just don't know what I should do

Because I've got the moving day frustration

I'd rather be on vacation

Then to make 20 million trips

In a real small car

With boxes falling in my face

And I gotta drive kind of far

Not to mention that gas isn't cheap

And the rain and the heat

And the kazoo-------traffic

Honking there horns

honk honk honk

Because we're all stuck

In a traffic jam

I've got the moving day frustration

I think I should make a donation

You know cause I've got all these things I haven't used in a while

And you know they can make somebody else smile

Instead of just sitting around and collecting dust

Some of them are turning into rust

You know just to be put in a box to be moved somewhere else

Where they'll just sit around and collect dust

And when I think of the smile

I think donating them might be worthwhile

Because then I would be singing a Happy song

Happy song

You can sing along

sing along

I be singing a Happy song

Happy song

Cause I have joy joy joy

Cause I be thinking of girls and boys

Who'd be using my things

They'd be using my things

Girls and boys

Girls and boys

They'd be using my things

Using my things

I'd be light like wings

They'd be using my things

Using my things

I'd be light with wings

And then so you know what I mean

I feel like I was heavenly doing that nice thing you know

I feel like an angel or something and I could float around and stuff

So you know if you got the moving day frustration

well maybe you should make a donation

Instead of being an ugly toad

Carry around a heavy heavy load

You know don't you get tired

Don't you get really tired

Of moving everything all the time

Free your mind

Release the burden

And donate it to a good cause
